The Perry County Highway Department maintains the roads and bridges of Perry County*. Maintenance predominantly includes pavement patching, repair, or resurfacing; roadway shoulder maintenance; mowing road right-of-ways; proper roadway drainage; inspection, maintenance and repair of bridges; signage; and dirt and gravel deliveries.

Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) - Perry County

In 2023, Perry County received an SS4A grant to prepare a Safety Action Plan. This plan aims to provide a collaborative and data-driven strategy to reduce transportation-related fatalities and serious injuries on county-maintained roadways.
